What is Fusion Festival?

Fusion Festival is not just a music festival; it’s an artistic, cultural, and communal celebration held annually at Müritz Airpark in Lärz, Germany. Renowned for its fusion of music genres, radical inclusivity, and vibrant artistic expression, Fusion creates an immersive atmosphere celebrating freedom, creativity, and alternative lifestyles.

It’s attended by over 70,000 people every year and is comparable in size to Burning Man.

A Brief History

Since 1997, Fusion Festival has grown from a small gathering into one of Europe’s most sought-after alternative and Techno festivals, attracting tens of thousands who unite in a spirit of creativity, tolerance, and exploration.

Fusion Festival 2025 Essentials

Dates: June 25 – 29, 2025
Location: Müritz Airpark, Lärz, Germany
Theme: “Unity in Diversity” – celebrating multicultural exchange and artistic collaboration.

Tickets: Available via lottery registration from December 2024 through the official Fusion website. Ticket options include regular passes, early-entry tickets, and supporter tickets.

Ticket Tip: Missed out on the Lottery? Don’t worry, due to the large number of attendees there will be plenty of tickets for sale starting mainly weeks before the festival. Best source to get tickets is via the offical Fusion Forum: http://forum.fusion-festival.de/

Planning Your Adventure

Getting to Fusion Festival

Fusion Festival takes place approximately two hours from Berlin. Travel options include cars, festival-organized shuttle buses, or trains connecting via nearby Neustrelitz or Mirow stations.

Train: Check on Deutsche Bahn for Train connections within Germany.

Bus: Check the official Fusion Bus provider, Bassliner.org for their Fusion Festival schedules. Buses run almost every 10 minutes during the starting days and the bus ride can be availed from many different German cities. Berlin is the closest location and the ride takes about 2-3h.

Bus Checks: Please note there are regular bus checks for the Bassliner buses. German police is taking buses very regularly to a parking lot and luggage and people get scanned for illegal substances, assisted by sniffer dogs. So take this into consideration, but I’m sure you will all stay clean and neat when attending this festival 🙂

Your Fusion Packing Checklist

• ✅ Camping Gear: Weather-resistant tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad
• ✅ Protection: Sunscreen, rain gear, sturdy and water-proof footwear
  • Rain Protection Note: Take Rubber Boots! You won’t regret it. Once it starts raining (which can occur due to German Summers), it can get very wet and muddy. So you will thank the advise for Rubber boots. Order them on Amazon for a very low price.
• ✅ Lighting: Portable LED lights or flashlights, Headlights for your nightly adventures or strolls across the camping grounds
• ✅ Eco-Friendly: Reusable water bottles, recycling bags
